Wedding Information
In order to have your ceremony at Les Bourgeois Vineyards, you must also have your reception here as well. No ceremonies without a reception will be permitted.
Food & Beverages
Please note the guarantee date and time listed on your rental contract. No changes can be made after this date, due to food ordering and staffing requirements. In the event that this information is not received and confirmed, the expected number of guests will automatically be used as the guarantee number and the client will be charged accordingly. Les Bourgeois reserved the right to cancel or deny service to any group that does not provide this information.
All functions are subject to Missouri Sales Tax and a 20 % service charge on food and beverages. Tax-exempt groups must provide a letter with your payment.
In accordance with state law, no alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the premises from any outside sources.
No food or beverage items, with the exception of specialty cakes, may be brought onto the premises.
Due to space limitations, lunch and dinner buffets are not offered in the Loft. For some smaller events, limited appetizers may be offered buffet style.
Upon receiving the final guarantee information, an itemized estimate will be made available upon request.
The final bill is figured at the end of your event and payment will be due on the day of your event. Les Bourgeois accepts cash, all major credit cards, and checks.
Decorating
Depending on the timing of your event, the Loft and Terrace may be decorated anytime after 11:00am on the day of your event pending space availability. On Sundays, when the entire Bistro is rented, decorating in the Loft and Terrace may begin after 3:00pm. The Main Floor of the Bistro will be released for decorating by the Catering Director or Banquet Manager only when the final lunch patrons are gone and the tables and linens are in place. This is at approximately 4:30pm.
Tape, pushpins, staples or nails may not be attached to walls or wood surfaces. Please consult your Catering Director of any requirements in advance. In the event that materials are used which damage the walls or wood surfaces, a $50.00 damage fee will be applied to your final bill.
NO CONFETTI, GLITTER, SHREDDED MATERIAL, BIRDSEED, FEATHERS OR RICE is permitted inside or outside the facility! No confetti or glitter may be placed on the tables! A $50.00 fee will be applied to your final bill in the event that these materials are used.
Please remove all indoor and outdoors decorations at the conclusion of your event. This includes items that other vendors may have set up. Les Bourgeois Vineyards is not responsible for items left after your event and does not guarantee the security of those items.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals for your wedding ceremony are on an as-available basis on the blufftop. You will work with your Catering Director to schedule a time that will work for all parties. Due to other events scheduled in the reception space, the rehearsal is limited to the outside blufftop only and will not include any services.
Fees and Incidentals
Linens
A table of 10 or more guests will have 3 or more Bistro tables pushed together. Each of those Bistro tables requires a single tablecloth. Buffets and additional banquet tables for parties over 80 guests require a single tablecloth.

All Les Bourgeois linens are pure white. We do have additional colors available upon request. See your Catering Director for prices, samples, and availability.
We will be happy to provide an estimate of number of cloths needed for your event when provided with a final guaranteed guest count and room schematic.
Carving or Pasta/Risotto Station Attendant.....................................$40.00 per carver/station attendant for each meat or station offered
Bar Set-up Fee.............................................$50.00 bar/beverage station set up fee is applied to all catered events, excluding Sunday and Monday evenings

What is the street address of the Bistro and A-Frame?
Due to our rural location, the physical street address is not posted at either facility. We recommend providing guests with a map. Our website provides a downloadable map in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat), which offers a map as well as written directions. This file is a great resource to insert into any invitation.
Is the main dining room of the Bistro ever used during normal business hours for private events?
The main dining room floor of the Bistro is available for private events on Sunday and Monday evenings only—when the Bistro is closed to the public the entire facility can be reserved for a private event. In fairness to our Bistro patrons, we feel that keeping regular business hours is extremely important.
Do you provide business or A/V equipment?
Les Bourgeois offers a projection screen, LCD projector and extension cords that may be used for a $75.00 rental fee. Any damages caused to this equipment will be the sole responsibility of the client.
Are there any hotels or bed & breakfasts nearby?
There are no hotels in Rocheport; the closest ones will be in Columbia or Boonville. There are several Bed & Breakfasts in Rocheport that welcome wedding parties and their families. In addition, historic Rocheport offers numerous antique shops as well as vendors whom specialize in photography, calligraphy and a publishing house. Bikes can also be rented for an excursion on the Katy Trail.
Do you provide valet parking for private events?
Valet parking is a complimentary service for guests of honor, but due to limited staff, we cannot offer valet service for all guests. Those guests needing special assistance can be dropped off at the service entrance near the front door.
Are there dressing rooms for wedding parties?
The Bistro's restrooms may serve as dressing areas. If you or your attendants do use the restroom for a dressing area during regular business hours, we ask that you please remove all personal items before your event and be respectful of our restaurant patrons. As an alternative the School House Bed & Breakfast offers a bridal changing room perfect for wedding parties. Ask your Catering Director for more information!
Can you recommend a baker, florist, DJ, etc.?
Certainly! Our recommendations are based purely on past experiences at Les Bourgeois. It is the client's responsibility to contract these outside vendors. All vendor deliveries need to be arranged in advance with your Catering Director.
What colors of linens are offered?
Les Bourgeois offers white linens and table skirts. If another color of linen is desired speak with your Catering Director about availability, pricing, and selections.
My friend has special dietary requirements; can you help with this request?
Of course! First we need to know the specifics in order to meet their needs. Our Chef offers vegetarian dishes as well as sugar substitute desserts.
Are the tables round?
No, all the furniture used for private events at the Bistro is the existing furniture. Tables are square in shape with a stainless steel tops. These tables can be arranged in long rectangular shapes to seat six to fourteen people per table. For events of 80 guests or more, 8 foot folding tables will also be used for seating.
How many table centerpieces will I need?
The number of tables will depend on the amount of guests to be seated at each table, the type of food being served and the table arrangement/size. We can recommend an estimated number of centerpieces during planning stages; however, the number of centerpieces needed won't be apparent until all final event information is guaranteed, at least two weeks prior to your event.
Do you provide seating for outdoor events?
Yes, we provide seating on the Bistro lawn for up to 300 guests. The chairs are traditional white folding chairs. You may provide your own seating if you desire, but it will be the client's responsibility to secure, deliver, set-up and return any rented items.
What do we do in case of inclement weather during an outdoor event?
Can tents be rented? Wouldn't it be nice to order the perfect weather? Unfortunately, weather is beyond our control—and that's an important consideration when booking an outdoor event. When reserving a private room (at the Bistro) you do have the option of moving your outdoor event (i.e. wedding ceremony) indoors. Because the room will already be set for your reception, seating will be limited and guests will likely stand during the ceremony. Our staff will help in any way possible to make the appropriate accommodations.
Do you offer menu tastings for private catered events?
We offer mostly individual tastings since they tend to be the most beneficial. Call your Catering Director for availability and suggestions.
How do I know how much food and what type of food to order for my private event?
Your Catering Director will be happy to help you with a menu plan that meets your needs. Another idea would be to include menu RSVP cards with your invitations. This is an easy way to eliminate the guesswork of who wants which entrée and may save money when giving your final guarantee numbers and menu selections.
Are there menu tastings available?
Yes, however, there are some items that cannot be prepared for a tasting. These items include: Dessert Bites, Fresh and Gourmet cheeses, Lobster tail, Carved meat selections, and Chicken and Exotic Mushroom Ragout Bouche.
